The 'Stewart' Clan
Lovely day spent with dear friend from school days, her daughter and sister. Sheila, in the centre of the shot, who lived opposite me when we were all just youngsters was home from the States doing a grand tour of the UK with her gorgeous daughter, Jennifer.
My attempts as Ms VisitScotland got off to a shaky start when I made them run across the road, dodging on-coming traffic, to catch the 41 bus up to George IV Bridge - only it wasn't a 41 we periously caught, it turned out to be a number 21. No matter, we disembarked at Goldenacre and walked up to town, stopping off to allow Jennifer to enjoy the delights of a deep fried Mars bar, to do some shopping.
Back to base then, joined by FBBB and his Sweetpea, we had dinner followed by an international game of Scrabble. The Stars and Stripes won that contest, although there were some dodgy Americanisms spelt out on the board....
