Helping HIM
It's not been a good blipping day today. I can tell because they went out and the next minute (almost) they were back again. Apparently there are terrible bush fires burning north of Adelaide right now, and the whole of the Barossa Valley is in danger. Yes, it really is. For once I am not exaggerating.
Not, I should say, did THEY go anywhere in that direction, but it's horrid outside, really strong hot winds, and the only place to stay is indoors.
So HE started to putter around in the front room, and I said to him, I said. I'll help you. Let ME climb the ladder and change the lights.
But no! He wouldn't let me, and just told me to sit down out of the way. So I did. And in any case I can hardly keep my eyes open.
You know how it is - Ern to fight, and Raj to chase.
A small black dog's work is never done. Especially on an empty stomach.
