Gotcha!

I shared my bedroom with a mosquito on Thursday night, which resulted in me feeling very itchy and sleep-deprived all day Friday. At least one of the bites has now become infected and my right wrist is stiff and swollen.

Before I went to bed last night, I tried to find it but Galtieri (by now, I'd Christened it) was nowhere to be found.

I was absolutely exhausted and because Galtieri was so sated on my blood she left me alone and I ended up sleeping for nearly 12 hours!

This morning though, I saw her languishing on my bedroom wall, so armed with a bit of toilet paper, I crept up on her and pounced.

Look at all that blood, my blood! That's very nearly an armful! ;)
