Wasp nest

I have been watching this nest during the summer, it's been interesting to see it start with a few wasps and grow into a busy hive of activity. Sadly now it's inhabitants are dying off, this mornings hard frost will no doubt finish quite a few of them off.

I think they are like Bumble Bees and the Queens hibernate and the workers die off. I am not a wasp fan but they are clever and interesting creatures.
