Coppicing

Today was my National Trust volunteering day so we braved the wind and rain to do some coppicing to protect the dormice in the area.  Luckily it didn't rain the whole day but we did get wet!  Thoroughly enjoyed it though - and the bath when I got home....
The extra is tiny catkins from the hazel trees we were coppicing.
