Sports day

Last week it got cancelled due to the rain, this week we all burned like chickens!

Had a lovely day watching the girls do two races each and finishing anything but first and then claiming they won;)

The day started off wet but it was 34 degrees in according to the car twhen we returned:( Not sure how that works but there will be a lot of red people in the village tomorrow.

So Evie's last ever sports day at the infants (albeit at the heights) and mays first ever sports day and I was honoured to be in attendance (although had to dash off for an awkward meeting at one stage).

Ice creams and cold drinks rounded off the afternoon then the long lost Hughesy came round in the evening. Great to catch up and probably the last time I will see him pre baby Hughes!!! Exciting times:)
