Histogram

The weather was spectacularly bad this morning - driving rain and wind.  But it had its own drama. Later when it had calmed down I walked the circuit with boots and leggings on.

I ended up trying to take a photo that has one of those nice bell shaped histograms which show good contrast and a good dynamic range. Given there is so much sea and sky here that is quite difficult.

Anyway it was a bit of an exercise and it made me think (a little) about the photos I was taking. Although the photo that had the 'best' histogram was weirdly out of focus. But I quite like it and its contrasts are a lot calmer than many of my photos.
