Deja vu (all over again)

A quick trip down to Hastings (to make a Christmas cake this time) and the weather turns from cold but sunny to the inevitable cold, wet and miserable - I could probably make a fortune as a rain bringer to some parts of the world.

Meanwhile in Priory Meadow shopping centre the cricketer statue appears to have suffered that most ignominious of dismissals, "hit wicket". What actually seems to have happened is that the chuckle heads erecting the festive ice rink (seen at right of shot) have managed to break the statue off at the ankles and shattered the stumps by driving a truck into it - that'll be a nice fat insurance claim for somebody to sort out!
