overpass, again

I took this one a minute past midnight, 3 minutes after last night's blip. I discovered that the police use this area as a shortcut from the highway to the surface streets. I should have guessed as much. A cop car went past me about 50 feet away while I stood there with my tripod. I froze and hoped I looked like a tree.
Very glad they didn't see me. Since 9/11, every cop here is crazy about anybody with a camera. I've been stopped and questioned in San Diego because I was carrying a camera on the street the federal courthouse was on. I was nowhere near it. You can imagine how they'd be, seeing a guy shooting under a highway in the middle of the night. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for small favors. City of Tempe police deserve the bad reputation they have.
