Thats Life

I know this is probably THE worst photo ever! But i found this little dragonfly in my kitchen sink half dead yesterday. He could no longer fly and would only use his little legs to groom himself. 

I didn't have the heart to put him out of his misery, so i perched him on top of a gardenia flower i had in a vase on the kitchen window sill. It looked like a nice place to die and he just sat there grooming himself while i did the washing up next to him. I couldn't help admire the beauty of both dragonfly and gardenia together on my window sill. I just had to take a pic.

Today i found both dragonfly and gardenia had died together after they had their last day to show their magnificent beauty.
