Night Calm

Leaving mom's house tonight, I noticed how calm and peaceful it was on her street. It was very dark but the sky was full of stars. There was a brilliant chill in the air. I scurried home and made myself a nice cup of hot chocolate. It was just what the doctor ordered for a gal who got caught after sunset wearing shorts and a Tee after the 80°/27° warmth of the daytime sun.
