Ice

Wet, cold and miserable here this morning so an early blip from me before work today.

Ice crystals always form into such intricate patterns so, although it's a pain to clear from the car windscreen, it provides a visual feast. This effect is captures using the "Koi" filter and the slightly aquatic green haze makes the ice take on an almost otherworldly quality which appeals to my sense of all things magical. It brings to mind ice castles and frozen lakes. There's a lot to be said for this time of year and whilst I dislike being cold, the frost and (hopefully) snow more than makes up for it in my opinion. Winter wonderlands aplenty I'm hoping!
