Spring Seedling

This amazing kinetic sculpture was erected on the banks of the Taylor River during the autumn last year. The blades of the "Spring Seedling" are only ever still if there is absolutely no wind blowing. The slightest breeze causes the blades to turn in ever-changing patterns. It is visible from a great distance and two road bridges as well and is lit up at night. I think it is very lovely and an asset to Marlborough.
