Populus deltoides?- cottonwood

Not sure which of the poplar family this comes from but it is well named.
Found a whole catkin had fallen amongst all the single seeds that covered the ground like snow. I brought it home for Tiny Tuesday treating it like a feather.Not easy to get such a fluffy item to look sharp and bits flew all round.
Placing it on a silver reflective card helped make it look like a cloud although at times I thought sheeps wool, samoyed dog hair. What do you see?
