Greetings from South Beach

Miami metro area: 5 mln people. I feel quite at home.

After a leisurely morning at the pool at Pawpaw and Nona's condo, we left Key West and drove to South Beach. The art deco architecture all around is breathtaking. Cuban food is a blast, though a bit short on vegetables. I still have to work at night (grading student papers and assignments), but that is a small price to pay for being here.

I clearly need more family weddings in impossible-to-reach locations with most unusual timings.
