thankful

Thankful for:

- lots of visitors, gifts and messages for the birthday boy;

- fun times out at Cannon Hall Farm;

- Z's big sister being so excited for the birthday boy, she forgot to be jealous - and more so that she's been that way since he arrived;

- the fact Z walks like a zombie with his arms outstretched in front of him and treated us to this spectacle frequently today;

- the resident elves who have played no small part in getting me through a year of grief; and

- Mr B making Zeke a chicken pie with his name on top, complete with a candle so that we could sing happy birthday once again.

Mum would have adored Zeke, possibly she DOES adore him. I wish I could share him with her, at least I can share her with him.
