The Art of...(16)

Today was a productive day.

I spent my afternoon honing my skills in the art of home repair and the art of grocery shopping. For instance, I vaguely learned how to wire an outlet and that a 90 degree squeeze connector is, as my dad so nicely put it, "not a 45 degree connector so get your butt back to ACE" (in Chinglish). Also I learned that you should only buy hard papayas and that onions actually come in many different colors!

Oh and also not to buy fresh fish because they'll gut the thing right in front of you (trust me it's not fun to watch fish organs spilling out like the center of a gusher fruit snack) only to have your parents be like "this takes too long to cook!...go return it!!" (in Chinglish)

Soo long story short I learned that shopping is hard, returning stuff is a hassle, and gutted fish is in fact not returnable...
