Day 327 Handbrake is optional, obviously......

I have 3 red lights burnt into my retina.... I followed this thoughtful individual for 45 minutes in queueing traffic tonight. Obviously an automatic and driven by one of those thoughtless drivers who probably don't even realise that the brake lights stay high intensity when you have your foot on the pedal. Stopped a traffic lights, in traffic, stop, start...for probably 45 minutes behind it (including at least one stop of perhaps 10 minutes), and not once was the handbrake applied. Of course it could be that the handbrake had failed......or it could be that the driver was dumb and oblivious, you decide. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..........
