Off up North ...

I had a rehearsal and concert in a little town, well north of Durham today.

I left a good two hours extra travelling time so I could do a bit of photography up on the moors - however - an enormously long detour caused by the closure of the A1, ate away all my leisure time and I got to the rehearsal only just in time!

Here's one of the windows in the church where we performed.

The concert went well and it was good to catch up with old friends.

I stayed overnight with a lovely, welcoming couple who had recently got a bulldog puppy (now eleven weeks old) I had such fun playing with him - such a sweet doggy!
