Big Buddha, Chalong, Thailand

This was the most amazing sight the bells ring in the wind all around and they are building and repairing this 40 metre high Buddha . For a donation you can write a message on the back of a tile before it gets fixed in we gave ours to my husbands friend a young man who died earlier this year and to all absent friends.
On a board below it said the following quote which made me think....
Work while you work.
Play while you play.
That is the way to be cheerful and gay.
All that you do , do with your might,
Things done by half are never done right.
