Paws for a Moment

Ouch! Bad pun. But what could I do? Here is Duma. Sleeping on the red chair. With all four paws and his tail together in a very cute clump. What could I do? I had to blip his wonderful golden paws with their soft pink pads. Didn't I? Right? Be sure to check out his feet in large,

Having another quiet day before we head into our next burst of activity. "Our" trumpeter, Larry Knopp who is first trumpet of the Vancouver BC Symphony, and his wife and son, arrive at our house on Sunday evening. Larry plays with the Bellingham Festival of Music orchestra and we are his host family. I think this is his fifth year with us but don't quote me on that. We've been hosting a member of the orchestra since the festival began in the early 1990s. It's a great way to enjoy the festival even more than we do just by going to the concerts. The music is glorious. And we are in hog heaven while it is going on. You can learn more about it on their website. Once it starts we'll be attending all concerts and basking in delicious classical music.

Actually we'll be doing that tonight too at the Amadeus Chamber Music Festival. This is its first year. We missed last weekend's concerts but plan to see all three concerts this weekend. As you can tell we are lovers of classical music.
