Just a shower

At Dunbar, the P7 leavers are "clapped out" of school by all the pupils, staff and parents on their last day. It's a well loved tradition and highly emotional.

I thought I would cry - I didn't. I thought I might get a photo of Matthew - I didn't. As he and his classmates went past in a conga line, I was too busy cheering and, er, clapping. I guess that's why they call it a clapping out.

So here's a pic of Matthew and pals a few minutes later, at the end of a wonderful week which is the culmination of 7 happy years.
