The end of the day

Sorry it's a bit dark. Only able to do eight second exposures and the moon was missing a peedie bit and in and out of the clouds.

That's not snow on the ground. It's the water table that has come up to the surface and not bothered to stop rising. 

When I went out to take this picture, I left the front door open even though it's still a bit 'brass monkeys'. A shadow crept out of the darkness and made it's way indoors behind me. The feral kittens had been fed, but 'hero-blobs' found out where the 'mystery food-giver' comes from. He made his own way out again to save me the heartache of having to kick him back into the cold.
