(Mostly) Grey Day At The Inlet

My wife and I went over to the inlet this afternoon to help clear our heads.
We just finished checking in on my mum who is on hospice and has been declining so the sky sort of matched our mood.
We felt the seeing our pals out on goat island might cheer things up a bit and it did. The sun came out for only a few minutes but it hit right on the head goat at one point.

Mom could hang on for a good while or go quickly, no way to be sure now. She is being made comfortable though and is in no pain.
Guess it's just the way of the world.
