Times Of My Life

Reflective

It's been a while.

Winter brings its own pressures, rushing around in the dark at weekends, trying to get everything done before the weather turns completely bad.  I do feel I probably suffer from that 'SAD' syndrome, because as soon as the clock went back, I start to feel miserable and lazy, and just want to curl up on the sofa watching 'I'm A Celebrity'.

Today though, I had the pleasure of getting together with a bunch of other SNP women to hear our MP, Tasmina Ahmed Sheik, and our MSP, Roseanna  Cunningham, talk about what it is like to be a woman in politics.  A lovely lunch in the Bothy, in Perth, and lots of chat with like-minded ladies.

The mirrored ceiling allowed me to take a shot looking down on the gathering as they chatted on a huge variety of topics, before we all dispersed back out into the cold.

Shocker - one of my neighbours put up their outside Christmas decorations, and now has a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree in their lounge!  There ought to be a law against decorations before December!
