82 Seafood Co.- Derelict Sunday

While doing research background for this I found a great entry in Flickr from two years ago that pretty much sums it up. Since then it has very recently gone vacant. It is part of a larger lot on the corner of one of the most busy intersections in Portland and big changes are a coming. The entire area, including the restaurant not seen, is fenced in and will probably be taken down for slick new 21st century architecture.

The flickr post:
"This suspicious looking place hides off the back edge of the parking lot of Hung Far Low on SE 82nd Avenue at Division in Portland, OR, or down a creepy alleyway behind Assets, one of top five sleaziest of the many, many strip clubs.

A seafood market in a little run-down house? Gee...why did it go outta business? (Or does it still un-Googlably continue somehow?)

Most interestingly to me, the sign combines Chinese and Spanish."
