Bamburgh Beach

Escaped from the house today for a walk on Bamburgh beach.
"I forgot to bring my swimming things" says the Karate kid. "you won't need them" I said. It was 4 deg C and we had hats and coats on. Well that didn't last long, he was in, wellie boots and all, up to his thighs! He was followed by teenager so now we have wet boots, socks and trousers to dry but they had fun.

The light on the beach looked fab but somehow I've not managed to capture it well. The kite surfers looked good. I was hoping to photograph the castle but the light wasn't right. I have however put one in the extras for you.

No outlaw talk today, no humour left. We are heading home tomorrow and I look forward to hot food again and a straight forward conversation!!
