Cosy by the fire....

Yes it is an artificial gas fire but it sure gives out some heat.  The flames are covered by thick glass which can get very hot...  Not at all like the early attempts of gas log or gas coal fires all those years ago - do you remember them? When you practically had to sit on top of the fire to get warm!
