First Snow Flakes

We got our first snow today....and our second, and our third......

It came down all day long.  By the time it was finished we had 7 inches at our house..  I took this shot early in the day, as the first flakes were starting to come down.  The shots I took later in the day to try to show the amount of snow don't really do the scene justice.  Too cloudy, so there wasn't any good definition.  I've added a couple of backyard shots in the extras to show the amount of snow.  Glad this all came on a Saturday!!
