A Half Clean Basin

This morning started with a very positive call from Rainbow, regular deposits have been made and tentative plans for release home are being muted.
Later in the day after some unwelcome rain showers had gone through, Mrs A S and I went to look at the work going on at the canal basin. I had been unable to get there in day light since the work started. Above show the view back into the basin from part way to top lock, which is being dredged as a "wish " plan to reopen the 2mile stretch to Bielby. In my view more of a dream than a wish ;).....
I have added an extra of a faffed with duck !! hope you all had a good day one and all.......
