Pretty greens

It was a bitterly cold day but we both needed some fresh air that wasn't a playground duty at work, so we had a little wander down by the River Darent at Lullingstone.

Despite the cold and being soggy underfoot it was lovely, peaceful and very pretty. One couple we passed told us they'd seen a kingfisher further along and had watched it for ages, but we weren't so lucky. That would have been fab!

A low speed wander (at 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow) topped off by a bacon baguette at the café at the car park. Just what we needed.
