Derwent Water

Up early to go to Derwent Water with Sue Thomas to get images for Morton Photographic Society's 'Reflections' competition. It was very cold and we soon retreated to the Theatre by the Lake's cafe for coffee and cake. Refreshed and back at room temperature we ventured back out along the lake's shoreline to Friar's Crag for a few more shots.

Then back to Brackenthwaite for lunch and on to Morton Community Centre for a most interesting lecture by Hunter Kennedy MPAGB EFIAP ARPS, which included many of his wonderful landscape images. Hunter was then judge for the Western Area Battle which was won by Dumfries CC.

The day was nicely rounded off with dinner in the company of Hunter and Pax Garabedian EFIAP PPSA DPAGB.

What a great day.
