Derelict Sunday
This building was built in 1904 as a boys boarding school, in 1948 it was taken over by The Liverpool School for the Deaf. The name was changed to the Birkdale School for Hearing Impaired Children. It was closed in 2003 and has been empty ever since. There have been plans submitted and rejected for conversion to apartments, in 2010 it inevitably had a mysterious fire and the end of the building was partially demolished. It is grade 2 listed
