Rehearsal Dinner

Reason prevailed, and we ended up stopping for a few hours at some Holiday Inn Express, God knows where, to sleep. Afterwards, we drove like mad, fueled by junky road food (see extra photo), and made it to the party just in time.

As I was changing into the dress I brought for the occasion, I noticed a small hole on the side, along the seam. Sawing kit? Nope. Safety pin? Nope. OK guys, what’s my plan C? Surgical tape!!! Thank you, Uncle Dave, for saving the day. I went to the party with my super-fitted dress held together on the inside, in part, by a piece of super-sticky surgical tape. No problem! :-)

The meal was lovely, I enjoyed meeting Jamie’s mom in particular. She is a healthcare consultant, which in her case means she travels to different hospitals and helps the staff improve the flow/efficiency of their emergency and operating rooms.

On the photo, you have Jamie and Adam, the reasons for the season. I figured out the flash-less settings later, but this photo was the best in terms of composition.
