Rainbow

Started today early (as yesterday) with karate training. The still, cool morning air; near-silence, broken only by occasional birdsong; gentle rain misting down; focusing inward and performing kata (well, after a whole lot of kihon (basics) that is) - all added up to a wonderful start to the day. 

The lorikeets turned up initially while I was training, but after a little while of being ignored, they took off again. Happily, they returned later. 8) I've shared on Flickr a couple of pics of the bloke, as they're the best photos of him (or other males) I've managed - but this photo I got of his lady love is just better, sharper, more vibrant:
