A Lovely Day

It has been a lovely warm day today - perfect for a wander at the estuary this morning.. The tide was in and the clouds made great reflections in the water. I felt no need to rush and enjoyed strolling and noting the seasonal changes. Grass seed heads swayed in the breeze and agapanthus stood at attention, ready to burst into flower.

A pohutakawa at the entrance to the walkway is showing red at the tips of the buds - it will be in full flower at Christmas . Spiders are building nests and bright little Copper butterflies catch the eye as they flit from bush to bush.

I did enjoy my walk this morning. My blip is taken at the start of the walkway. The extra is an agapanthus bud with a backdrop of water.
