The last of the sun

Determined to finish uploading the weeks photos and get up to date…..unfortunately it means a late night and freezing!!!
A very beautiful day today. The sun was out and the blue skies showing. And it was UTTERLY FREEZING!!
This afternoon the down jacket was pulled out of the cupboard and Cathie, Jewelz and I set off for a walk.
We walked from Burnsall to Hebdon school tearoom, where we found welcoming lights, warmth, coffee and pecan pie. :)
I then left Cathie and Jewelz there and walked back to get the car and pick them up. (Figured Jewelz had walked far enough…and it was dark!) I stopped briefly to grab this photo.
Although I had my camera with me the whole time, this was the only photo I took. Maybe it was just too cold! We did walk over some icy puddles, and there was a slight dusting of snow here and there at our feet but the (not too) distant hills were white.
It was beautiful.
Then home for Anderson's Pea Soup!  Mmmmmm!  :0)
