My Life With Luna

Sudborne Church

I was rather surprised when Ian called by and suggested that as it was a clear evening to try some lowlight photography.   So wrapping up warm against the freezing temperature we set off for this beautiful little village church that we had been told was floodlit.
It stands well out of the village, but looks splendid as you view it across farmland from the main road.
It is a Saxon church, built in the 12th century of local stone, the tower was added in the 14th century and in 1878 it was completely restored by a Sir Richard Wallace of Sudborne Hall.    Over the years I have been to two weddings and two funerals at this church and the interior is quite beautiful too.
