Red Rock
Todays bike ride for me was 37 miles. The first part was 17 miles of a steady uphill pull at aroound 9 mph for me. I skipped the loop through the canyon because of the hills. The return trip was a 17 mile downhill coast and sprint at 18 to 25 mph. No wonder the uphill part was so tiring! I had left my windbreaker and winter tights at the first sag stop because of the uphill work. On the return downhill at higher speeds, the wind chill became a factor. Later the hot tub was a great relief.
The extra photo is of the group milling about prior to the start from the Golden Nugget.
