Nice weather for ducks..

well it must be, though you would normally say it when it is raining.

My walk took me to the bank again & to Walton Pond just beyond, so many ducks here & as I approached they all charged towards me thinking I was going to feed them...can you spot the resident moorhen. ?

A little bit later leaving today but I left about 1130 & took a parcel to the garage for collection & then onward towards the town. Once I reached the pond I paused to take a few shots before walking around it & heading for home. As I reached the post box Joe (Boss) was walking briskly toward me with a bunch of letters for posting. We stopped & chatted then slowly made our way back to the Dene. I said that i would have to go and get something warm to drink as it is really cold today & he told me that he had had his already. His latest "warmer" is a mug of hot chocolate with a shot of Bacardi to keep out the cold ! I went home & had a cup of tea and a sandwich for lunch ! 

Carol was ironing so when I walked in she went off upstairs to "get her face on" as she is going with Nicola to see Trudy . Trudy has recently opened a Beauty Parlour, I guess you would call it that & she has got an open day today. A very cold wind today & bright sunshine and so a pleasure to be out & about.
