First Fall Of Winter Snow

I finished off a call at Llandough Hospital this morning about 8.30am and looking over Cardiff to my village of Machen, some 17 miles away, there was a lovely sprinkling of snow on the mountains.

The main blip photo shows The Millennium Stadium and city centre with the snow capped mountains, and the extra shows a close up of my village.

We're off to visit friends at The Cotswold Water Park overnight, tonight, and it'll be interesting to see what their weather is like. Their house backs on to a lake with lots of wildlife. We'll take some bread with us as it's always a joy to feed the ducks which come and tap on the patio window when they want feeding.

I can't wait for a good fall of snow to get some nice crisp white photo's!
