Doubtful Sound

We went on a boat called the Doubtful Sound and we were surrounded by nature. We had a moment called the Sound of Silence when everyone got quiet and we would just listen to nature. We could hear birds chirping, the waterfall, the breeze. It was the most peaceful moment of my life and I needed it. The mountains actually had an avalanche 5 or 10 years earlier and it's so surprising how fast the forest grows back. The forest are is actually on of the areas in New Zealand that is actually native with no weeds or foreign plants. One of the trees that I love is a bigger version of a bonsai tree. It's not exactly a bonsai, but that's the closest thing I can relate it to. One of the areas we went had seals and penguins on the rocks which was really cool seeing them wild. Later on, wild dolphins would play and ride beside the boat! I had a blast and I'm glad that we were surrounded by nature.
