More stones

Up early again to get Tricia to work - not sure being a kept man is all it is cracked up to be - and put up my nets to catch some birds to ring. Three hours later and one House Sparrow has a shiny new ring but otherwise a lot of empty nets.
I then decided instead to go to Baleshare where as well as the normal beach walk, I am looking at the remains of a pre-crofting settlement (before 1800 for those who don't know!) called Illeray.
I hadn't realised how cold it has become - it felt like it should be snowing but couldn't quite be bothered.
