Looking On

Attended a volunteers' meeting at Christchurch Priory.  When you're slightly detached from the proceedings it's fun to pick out the characters who attend meetings everywhere: Miss Keeny who hangs on the chairman's every word and wants to thank everyone for what they do.  Mrs Efficient who knows all the rules and wants everything proposed and seconded.  Mr Cold Water who knows exactly why any suggestion won't work.  Mr and Mrs "We've always done it this way."  Went for a walk by the quay afterwards to clear my head.  Actually, by and large, they're a nice bunch.
