Guest is God

Great day today – achieved a lot. Fence panels ordered, paid for and delivery requested. Took wife’s parcels to Post Office and did top up shop. On arrival home discovered fence panels had been delivered. Now that’s what I call service.

Wife and her best friend had arranged for us to see the tea-time viewing of The Lady in the Van (see extras) and what a treat that was. Maggie Smith was outstanding and Alex Jennings as Alan Bennett superb. Afterwards we had booked a table at The Cochin, a Kerala restaurant. We all had their Thali meal  - Fish soup starter, the main - a selection of 7 dishes with rice and bread and followed with dessert. This was our first visit here and we will be back. Today’s blip is the back view of a staff T shirt which I couldn’t resist

 This is probably the best Indian meal I have had in years. If you are ever in Bedford or Hemel Hempstead I can recommend without reservation.
