Bird

A visit to the Gateshead office that was somewhat overwhelmed by lunches and parties for various retired colleagues (who now outnumber those who are left gamely working on). I also missed Emmala , who was apparently in the same building.

Then a train back to Embra; it was very nice to have a brief sighting of senior blipper Red , who joined us at Dunbar. No time for mini blip-meets in the Halfway Hoose, sadly - Red had to go to a band practice, and Mr H and I went up the hill to the back of the museum to attend a gig that Arclight had told us about. I was quite distracted from the intellectual debate by watching the photos slide past on the big screen - it was easy to spot the contributing blippers!

On our way home we stopped in at the Guildford for a delicious pint and were unexpectedly joined by the lovely Shandonner - how good was that?

Oh, the bird. It alighted on a post in the car park as I was heading back to the office - snapped it with no idea what it was. I'm told it's a thrush - missel? Missal? (Surely not.) Ah, Mistle....
