Hanging on by a thread!

Still a few crab apples on a totally leafless tree. Don't think they will be there for much longer if the weather forecast is to be believed!

Big effort to rake up the last of the leaves today. We have spotted a couple of hedgehogs in the area where the leaves are piled up. Considering the depth of the leaves they should have a wonderful cosy winter whatever the weather! 

Think hibernating animals have exactly the right idea!
