Snack Time

First sunny day for yonks.  Sunny all day :-)  In service for the schoolboys and  Mummy and Daddy off too so I joined them for a trip to one of the nicest castles around here - Balvaird.  It has great climbing over dykes and up ruined bits of the castle.  It is watertight but it's only open occasionally.  It's set on a hill with trees round about it and we had a lot of fun at it.  Cameron as usual climbing as high as possible, and walking down the surrounding high dyke on the outskirts.  His hero is Bear Grylls and it's all about what Bear would do.....

I laugh at this picture as Cameron has the coat off no gloves or hat as he wa.s climbing and was boiling and we were all wrapped up. 

After this we headed into Falkland to the Lomond Tavern for lunch.  Massive portions for good prices.  It's always busy and we had to come back as it was full.

Home around 4.  I was exhausted with all the fresh air and I lay down in front of the fire with Breagha and fell asleep watching Elvis and Me with Joanna Lumley....

Snow forecast it seems for the weekend - I suppose it is the time of year for it!!
