Freedom!

Kes went home today! Oh happy day! No more early wake up woof and no more wet and stormy walks! No more white hairs over everything and no more smelly farts! I miss him! We had an early morning walk and dash to the Farm shop to get Gunther locusts and Tilly and the other girls pellets. I left a note on the door for the Anglian man, since they were unable to tell me when I phoned what time of day I could expect him, but he would phone an hour before arriving! The note was still on the door when we got home - phew! He came in the afternoon and the two leaks will be sorted without much trouble - just when it's dry!
Vegan Jo then facebooked me - they were home! So I gathered Kes's things and off we went! They cruise had been really good, warm, good food, interesting sights - just hardly anyone their age - which meant they could just relax and have time to themselves - which with 4 children and a dog was heavenly! I got a portugese chicken key ring, 3 gorgeous soaps and a huge bottle of Archers! Kes was a little confused and although excited at seeing Vegan Jo, was looking to me as his pack leader!
Once home and dog hairs hoovered up, and mud splashes discovered on all my shoes in the hallway - Grrr - I grabbed Fat Cat and brought her downstairs - complaining all the way! Having established the fact the dog had gone she settled down to eat - as did I!
In the evening I went to camera Club and a Patterns judging - interesting. The judge liked those that were close ups and irrevocably patterns, but wanted "value Added" on those which involved buildings - he stated how in the past he would wait for a scene to be clear of people, but now he waited for them to come into view! Them or someone in  red or a member of the animal world! I caught up with Gilesey and mydartmoorwalks - then came home to eat without a dog gazing at me!
