No way today.

All packed up ready to go and they tell me my Cross Country train to Exeter is cancelled today due to the flooding on both lines south of Scotland. Such a disappointment! Trains running tonight will take 17 hours and three changes to reach Devon tomorrow morning. So I came home and booked a flight from Glasgow to Exeter but still cannot get away until Sunday night! I will miss out on two out of seven full days of my holiday with my family from London. Chris was so surprised to see me return home again. We just sat and watched the tennis instead.

This cross country train was traveling at high speed towards Edinburgh but didn't stop at my station this morning.
